MARGARET F. RITSEMA

Margaret F. (Steen) Ritsema, 69, of Piedmont died June 19, 2006.

She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Sadie Steen.

She is survived by daughter, Sharon Zuidema of Piedmont; son, Fred Ritsema of Haledon, NJ.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held June 24 at Piedmont United Methodist Church.

BILL BEACHAM, SR.

Billie “Bill” Jackson Beacham, Sr., 72, husband of Sara Gaines Beacham of West Pelzer, died June 25, 2006 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Pelzer, he was a son of the late Clint Jackson and Laura Scroggs Beacham. He was retired from West Pelzer Used Furniture Company and a member of West Pelzer Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving are his wife of the home; daughter, Lynn Gibbs of Powdersville; sons, Billie J. Beacham, Jr. of Pelzer, Butch Beacham of Piedmont, Steven Beacham, Sr. of Powdersville; step-sons, Gary Forrester of Flat Rock, NC, Greg Forrester of Williamston, Larry Forrester of West Pelzer; three brothers, George Beacham of Sevierville, TN, John T. Beacham of Pelzer, Jerry Beacham of Greenwood; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held June 27 at West Pelzer Church of God of Prophecy.  Burial followed in Pine Lawn Cemetery.


NEIL RAY

Michael Neil Ray, 23 of Anderson, died June 22, 2006 in Anderson.

Born in Anderson, he was an employee of Nutra and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his father and stepmother, John and Juanita Ray of Anderson; mother and stepfather, Lynda and Terry Simmons of Mountain Rest; two brothers, Russell Ray of Charleston and Chris Ray of Anderson; two sisters, Marissa Ray of Anderson and Michelle Chapman of Williamston; grandmothers, Josephine Ray of the home and Bernice Christiansen of Clewiston, FL; and aunt, Joan Ray Strickland of the home.

Funeral services were held June 25 at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel. Burial followed in Old Silver Brook Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 307 South Manning Street, Anderson, SC 29624.


ELAINE WHITLOCK PARKER

Elaine Whitlock Parker, 58, of Cedartown, GA died June 20, 2006.

She was born in Anderson County and was a member of First Baptist Church of Cedartown.

She is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Parker; her parents, Roy and Edith Ellison Whitlock; sons, Randy Parker and Richie Parker; daughter, Michelle Putnal; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were held June 24 at the First Baptist Church of Cedartown. Entombment followed in Polk Memory Gardens.


TED A. COCKCROFT

Ted A. Cockcroft, 49, of Duncan, husband of Pamela Thompson Cockcroft, died June 22, 2006 at his home.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Carolyn Cantrell Cockcroft of Jasper, FL and the late Sam Cockcroft.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother, are a brother, William Keith Cockcroft of Jasper, FL; mother-in-law, Mallie Thompson of Pelzer; a daughter, Jessica Walter of Greenville and one grandson.

A memorial service was held June 25  in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.

ELLOREE H. DICKSON

Elloree Horne Dickson, 86, formerly of Clifton, died June 25, 2006 at Magnolia Manor of Greenville.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Lattie Horton Horn, and the wife of the late Arnold Aubrey Dickson. She was retired from Pacolet Manufacturing Company and was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Cowpens.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda D. Ridings of Piedmont; sister, Mozzell Parris of Cowpens; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held June 28 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.


NATHAN LEON MILLER

Nathan Leon Miller, 24, of Greenville, died June 23, 2006 in Pickens.

He is survived by a son, Nicholas Elijah Miller of Piedmont; a daughter, Leila Nevoeh Miller of Piedmont; mother, Alberta Parks Miller of the home; father, Steve Leon Miller of Greenville; grandmother, Thelma Miller of Mauldin; and the mother of his children, Roberta Michelle Burton of Piedmont.

Funeral service was held June 28 at the Valley Brook Outreach Baptist Church. Burial followed in Resthaven Memorial Garden.
