Former Wren standout competes at Clemson

The College of Charleston's Brooke Kotcella (2) almost blocks a pass from Clemson's Christy Brown (4) in college basketball action November 13 at Clemson. Kotcella, a former standout at Wren High School, scored five points, had two rebounds, and played 17 minutes in the game. She had a large crowd of fans cheering her on. When she scored it sounded like the home team had done something big. The College of Charleston had a 24-23 lead at half-time before losing to the Tigers 64-42.
